John Schranz loves new beginnings. He’s been a professor, a theatre director, actor and writer. Now he’s building an interdisciplinary Masters programme of study based at the university of Malta and with universities in Rome, Paris, Leicester and Posen – a cross between performance and brain research which aims to study the genesis of human creativity. "I don’t feel like a resident of a small island," says Schranz, "but like one of 500 million Europeans."
